Welcome to 2010 Arts Series scheduling.

Sunday, June 13th at 3 pm, local artist, Anne Hanna will present a film on American Classic Norman Rockwell.  Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine over more than four decades.[1] Among the best-known of Rockwell's works are the Willie Gillis series, Rosie the Riveter (although his Rosie was reproduced less than others of the day), Saying Grace (1951), and the Four Freedoms series. He is also noted for his work for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA); producing covers for their publication Boys Life calendars, and other illustrations.     Anne will have her own paintings on display.

Saturday, July 17th at 3 pm, we will have an Old Time Radio presentation of Our Miss Brooks.  The Ad Hoc performing group of the Possum Point Players are the presenters.

Saturday, August 14th at 3 pm, will be 1940's war time songs by the Cheerful Notes Glee club from the Cheer Center at Sandhill Rd, Georgetown.

CELTIC SINGER CHARLIE ZAHM'S Christmas Concert on Sunday December 12 th.

Sunday, December 12 th at 3 p.m.

We will host Charlie Zahm, one of the most popular soloists at Celtic music festivals, Maritime and Early American music events anywhere east of the Mississippi. With a baritone voice some have described as "coming along once in a generation," Charlie has become one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit, weaving magical moments of Scottish and Irish history for the listener and viewer, with passion for the performance and a chosen repertoire pleasing to all members of the family. A master of the guitar as well, Charlie brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings---and with dashes of humor and a light in his eyes, he will draw you into the stories of his songs!  Charlie Zahm website
