 Mission Statement
The  Mission of Community Lutheran Church is:
To grow in discipleship by faithfully hearing, proclaiming, teaching and studying the Word of God, along with partaking in the sacraments of baptism and holy communion. 
  
As stewards of God's grace, to witness God's Good News to others, serving with Christian love, humility and compassion; interceding for them in the name of our gracious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Affiliation
We are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and part of the Delaware-Maryland Synod. We teach according to the Bible and Doctrine as outlined in the Lutheran Book of Concord.  See are What is a Lutheran? page for more Information. We have full communion partnerships with PC(USA), United Methodist Church and the Episcopal Church USA. We are also members of the Southeast Sussex Ministerium.
