Winter and Summer Homeless Meal Programs

In partnership with SOUL MINISTRIES in Bethany Beach, our church provides meals once a week to the Homeless men living at Stone House during the Winter. This ministry provides a place to stay, counseling, fellowship and rides to employment. Through this program many men are able to transition from being homeless to being self-sustaining. We provide a weekly meal, fellowship and Bible Study. 

During the Summer we provide meals that will go on the road to feed homeless living in camps and to the folks living in motels who need a hot home cooked mea

Our Partnership

Soul Ministries is a 24/7 homeless shelter and halfway house for men. They provide services that allow men to work and save so they can become independent. Our relationship developed through our interaction with the Christian Community of Churches in Sussex County.

What we do

A group of volunteers buys food and prepares meals for the shelter once a week.

Food Pantry

We offer food for families for 3-4 days once a month. Through generous support and donations we provide meals for 40 or so families. Sometimes these families are large, some are small. Some come once in a blue moon some come regularly. Some are young families; some are older adults. We feed them all.

The pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00 noon..
