Service Opportunities: 

Christian Communications Team
This team is looking for additional team members. We are part of CLC’s Growing Ministry. Our areas of concern are overseeing our print ads in local newspapers, maintaining the church web site, providing 3D advertising materials and assisting all teams & ministries in developing both internal and external ads, articles etc. The team meets most months on the fourth Wednesday. The time involved can be fit to your interests and availability. Skills needed: 1. Basic email capabilities – Highly desired for basic communications with the team, the church organization and publications. 2. Journalism or writing skills: would be fantastic, but certainly not required. 3. Basic computer  skills & internet experience – required in order to work directly on the web site; however, maintaining the timeliness of the web site information requires someone to interact with the teams/ministries to know what needs to be updated – a non-computer job. Talk to team members to learn more.

Property Team The Property Team is looking for willing hands to assist in the maintenance of our church. The team meets once a quarter for about one hour to discuss the status of the church property and what repairs are needed. Over the years we have had a few members faithfully attending to these tasks. They would appreciate additional hands to join this productive team. Prior experience in building maintenance is not necessary, but certainly is helpful! If you are willing to help, please sign your name, email and/or phone number on the “Property Team” sign-up sheet on the information board in Luther Hall. Thanks to all who help! ​

Calling All Gardeners! Calling all gardeners to help keep the flower beds around the building, and the cross garden planted, weeded and clean. This is a task team and you will be notified when a workday is planned. We have had two of our members faithfully attending to these tasks over the years. They will appreciate others joining in the work time. The more people there are, the task requires less time. If you are willing to help, please sign your name, email and/or phone number on the “Garden Team” sign-up sheet on the information board in Luther Hall. Thanks to all who help! 

Do You Have Good Computer Skills? 
Would you like to help out with a project but do not want to be too heavily involved? We are seeking an individual (or two) to convert recordings from a memory chip to DVD for our CLC archives and library. This seldom exceeds 3-4 special events that are taped per year.
